Normal Firefighters IAFF Local 2442 is governed by an Executive Board. These board members are elected by members of the Local and serve a 2-year term.

Matthew Hill President Hill joined the Normal Fire Department in 2008. He served as Vice-President of Local 2442 from 2011-2015, and was elected President of Local 2442 in 2017. He is also a proud member of the AFFI Honor Guard. |

Matt Steinkoenig Vice-President Steinkoenig joined the Normal Fire Dept. in 2006. He was elected to his first term on the Executive Board in 2017. He also serves as the President of NFD's pension board. |
